ELLA MURRAY LAROCHE (1894-1997) AND ADELAIDE HOPKINSON LAROCHE SEABROOK (1892-1978): Two sisters who were the daughters of Julia Hopkinson Laroche and her husband Murray LaRoche. Their family owned Cassina Point Plantations for generation since it was first built in 1847. The two sisters were considered beloved members of the Edisto community.
